About Us

The Uttarakhand State Veterinary Council was established in 2004 to fulfill these objectives within the state.The Council's primary source of funding is currently the Government of Uttarakhand. Prior to 2017-2018, the Council received financial support through a joint funding mechanism: 50% from the Department of Animal Husbandry & Dairying, Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India, and 50% from the Government of Uttarakhand under the "Professional Efficiency Development Programme."
