To maintain a comprehensive register of all veterinary practitioners practicing in the state of Uttarakhand.
To regulate veterinary practice within the state of Uttarakhand in accordance with the provisions of the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984 and its associated rules and regulations.
To establish and uphold high standards of professional conduct, ethical behaviuor, and etiquette among veterinary practitioners.
To provide expert advice to the Government of Uttarakhand on all matters related to veterinary practice and education.
To ensure the effective implementation of the Indian Veterinary Council Act 1984, and its associated rules and regulations within the state.
To continuously strive to improve the professional efficiency and competence of all registered veterinary practitioners in Uttarakhand.
