Vision

To utilize the Uttarakhand Veterinary Council to Provide a legal , ethical & Scientific Approach for holistic Development of the Animal Husbandry Sector in Uttarakhand.

Mission

·  To enhance the ethical standards and professional conduct of veterinary practitioners in Uttarakhand.

·  To effectively monitor and control unethical or illegal veterinary practices within the state.

·  To actively promote the "One Health" approach – recognizing the interconnectedness of human, animal, and environmental health – within Uttarakhand.

·  To serve as a comprehensive legal & Ethical platform for all veterinarians in Uttarakhand, including private practitioners, retired professionals, and other stakeholders engaged in Animal Husbandry Field.

·  To leverage information technology to drive growth and innovation within the Uttarakhand Animal Husbandry sector.

·  To showcase and amplify the valuable contributions of veterinarians for the socio-economic development of Uttarakhand.

·  To foster self-employment opportunities within the animal husbandry sector through skill development and entrepreneurship initiatives like Dairy farming, Goatry, Piggery, Poultry farming etc.

·  To facilitate continuous professional development for veterinarians in Uttarakhand through effective implementation of Continuing Veterinary Education Programs (CVEP).

·  To provide timely access to the latest advancements in veterinary science and technology through the Continuous Veterinary Training Programme.

·  To connect all veterinarians in Uttarakhand through a robust online network, leveraging technology to enhance communication and collaboration in betterment of farmers and their animals.
